3/13/2013 - Montesilvano, Italy

Cari tutti!

Well, this sadly may be the last email I send home =( being the last email I also have no idea what to write haha because in the end I can just tell you all this stuff in like a couple days. I can't wait to see all you guys. You have no idea how much I've missed you all. If I cry like a baby at the airport its not because I'll be sad but probably the extreme emotions mixed with extreme tiredness will create the perfect combination for an emotional meltdown haha (I'm pretty sure I inherited this from you mom). I promise to hug and kiss everyone too. (haha, like he has a choice!) I'll be a good sport =) In Italia we kiss everyone, it's a way to salute people here. It will be weird re-adjusting to american culture where kissing someone can end up in a nasty court case. Dad told be that Taco Bell now makes Doritos taco shells =O yeah that got my mouth watering. 2 years of Pasta was great but I miss some good old fashioned tex-mex or even a nice Double Double from america's greatest fast food burger joint. Oh yeah! and Wahoo's enchiladas!! Snap =P now I'm trunky. Still got another week... can't think too much about this stuff.
So things in Pescara are going well. No baptisms in the near future but still holding in there to the last minute. English course EXPLODED and now there are like a million people there. My companion gets a little stressed and overwhelmed but I love it. I'm gonna miss Italy and I'm gonna miss being a missionary =( I know that we are missionaries our whole lives but it won't be the same. I'll try and spend a lot of time with the missionaries back home so I don't get lazy. I'm gonna help Mike get all super awesome as a missionary too so that when he gets out there he'll be ready to teach all of Britain. Anziano Fossa, in the other companionship here in Pescara, his cousin is going to the Leeds England mission the same day as Mike! Crazy huh? So he will have an Italian sister in the MTC with him. It's a small world. Also the fact that Ben will also be going to Leeds.(Ben McKeon from our ward has also been called to the Leeds England Mission)  This stuff is all nutz.
Well I'll see you all real soon. Have a great week and vi voglio bene!

3/4/2013 - Pescara, Italy

Hello,

Well I don't know really what to write. I think I might just tell you guys everything in 2 weeks or so haha. I've been pretty sick too this week, just like Mike, so it’s not just over there but everywhere. Anziano Alessandro was sick last week and everybody in Pescara seems to be sick too. Church mailed me some travel plans to confirm and everything looks legit. 4:30 LAX, Let’s not make too big of a scene okay? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be tired as heck getting off that plane and  having to hug and kiss a million people may be overwhelming haha. (I told Kyle, too bad) I'm all alone on my flight too, no missionary buddies for 11 and a half hours. Oh well. Today we are gonna play some soccer and stuff. It's gonna be way fun.

Way to go mom on fighting the system however your actions seemed very liberal. Cutting government spending has always been an ideal of ours. Firing music teachers doesn't mean cutting the music program, it’s still there.(Kristin and I both spoke to our Elementary School Board trying to save a music teacher position) But okay. I don't want you to get all heated about this. Way to go also to Kristin on her award winning awesomeness.(She was awarded most outstanding at the Jr High District Honor Band Concert) She is our last hope for academic success in high school. Maybe you will get someone out to Harvard eventually.

The work is going a little slow here my last transfer for reasons I'll explain to you some details though after getting home.  One last thing, does dad have enough free airline miles to get me back here to Italy some day? I made a lot of friends here and saying goodbye is hard. I have a ton of ex-companions too from all of Italy who want me to visit after the mission.  Just something to think about. I am gonna miss this place so much. I love it. I know Dad says I can't marry an italiana but I might just do it and use it as an excuse to travel back here every once in a while =) hahaha. Just teasing.

I love and miss you all. I can't wait to see you all in a bit. 2 years is a LONGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG time. Someone was asking me about Catania the other day and I said "I can't remember everything! That was 2 years ago!!" haha. Have a great week and VI VOGLIO BENE!
             Con Amore,   Anziano Kyle Hill

2/27/2013 - Pescara, Italy

Ciao!

Okay well this week I have like 30 seconds to write you guys.  I’m sorry. We have this guy bringing new furniture to our house and he came like 5 hours late and now I have to leave for L'aquila in an hour. I'm having a great week and can't wait to see you all in a couple weeks I hope you are all doing well and having fun. I miss and love every one of you. Say hi to Javan Hatch for me. Glad to hear he’s back in one piece.  I got a ton of letters from Peter this week and the Primary. Thank them all or I can do it in 3 weeks if you forget. Tell peter he’s forgiven for waiting so long to send me those letters and that I do know how to make amazing pizzas. Vi voglio bene!!

2/20/2013 - Pescara, Italy

Ciao tutti,

Well I don't have much time to write you all this week and I'm really sorry.  I hope all is well back home. I really enjoyed your email mom and glad to know you guys are helping me out with looking for work, that takes a big burden off my back.  I've been offered work here in Pescara haha, but I don't know how much I want that. I am totally down for an epic brother bonding car trip to go pick mike up from school mid April.  I can stop by Provo too and say hi to Trav and my friends up there. I miss you all and hope you all are having a great week. I am having a lot of fun here and really enjoying my last transfer. Work is going well. Had a show down with a born again Christian the other day who literally exhausted my spirituality.  No spirit, no good, wasted time. Bashing solves nothing. That’s about it for now. I miss and love you all. I hope you are having a good time back home. Be excellent to each-other and party on dudes!

2/14/2013 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao a tutti,

Well I believe an apology is required here. Sorry I'm writing you so late. We had a special Zone Conference last week and Elder Kent Richards of the 70 came and spoke to us. He talked about a ton of really, really important stuff that I am totally bummed I had to wait til my last transfer to hear. Some real useful tools and advice for teaching and cool new stuff I had never tried yet. At least I still have another 4 weeks to try it all out though. We left late Tuesday night and took a weird little train out to the Rome 3 apartment. Anziano Wright and Anziano Wultzl (he’s Austrian) were there and took good care of us. They have a totally awesome apartment too. The only problem was the water heater was broken and we would have had to take freezing showers if it wasn't for me to save the day and use my good old handyman knowledge I picked up from the mission and fix the water heater. I'm so proud of all the random stuff I have learned to do on my mission like changing power outlets, fixing water heaters, plumbing, electrics and circuits and many other cool things. Of course I've become an expert at missionary work too but that's a given. So yeah, after that night we had to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get a bus and arrive at the church building by 7. Arriving there I was able to run into a couple of my old companions that I haven't seen in a long time like Anziano Lacey. I was able to talk to the missionaries who are serving in Sassari right now and learned that Adhemar is still taking the lessons! His whole family got baptized as Jehovah Witnesses though.  He's still strong though. He still remembers me and wants my info so I was able to write a little note to send back to Sassari with Anziano Stevens who is working there. We got back late last night so no real time to do anything but return home. I've been going to Roma quite a bit these last few weeks but now I don't have to for the rest of the transfer.
As for missionary work I decided to give all the work to the other companionship so the greenie could have a good experience. Me and Whitfield are starting from scratch. We have already found a couple really good contacts though and meet one of them tonight so things are going forward. This transfer is blowing by a little fast.  Looked at my blog this morning too and saw that you already have my homecoming talk planned, on Easter! What a day for homecoming! Cool to think that the next week is General Conference too. Do you already have my flight plans? I'm praying I’m on a direct from London to LAX. That would be super convenient even if it’s a 15 hour flight or something. I want to have to pick you guys out through all those Mexicans and Chinese people holding up giant signs in the LAX international terminal. Make sure the setting apart is good and everything too. I need to go on dates and stuff haha. Just yesterday the mission presidents wife told me I was too skinny and I told her that I have to diet because in 5 weeks I have to start talking to girls again haha. Being towards the end of the mission is strange. It reminds me of how my trainer Anziano Medina was his last transfer. He gets married in April BTW at the Vegas temple. It’s strange how fast some things happen. I'm finishing strong though. I made myself have a rough situation this last transfer on purpose so I can keep myself working hard to the last minute. NO SLACKING AT THE FINISH LINE!!! And it doesn't finish here. When I get home let our missionaries know I’m ready to BAPTIZE the whole SCV!!! Woo!!!
Anyways, some serious things. I need a job when I get home, but that's not just something that happens overnight. The fact is, the sooner I get working back home the better. I'm gonna need HELP okay. I would like to know if you could start asking around already if anyone knows of anything, even if it's the most disgusting job ever. Even if it involves me commuting or even moving somewhere (if it's worth it) please help me out because I don't want to have to worry about this stuff yet while I'm still on my mission. Know that I'm willing to do anything and whatever gets me the most I'll take. I'll get right away on applications when I get home but still nothing beats getting into a job where you have connections or something like that. Get me into PWC with dad cleaning the toilets haha I don't know anything okay? Something that gets me a cool cell phone though like the one mom and dad have would be nice though. I got to hold a Nokia Lumia 920 the other day because a member had it, NOW THAT IS A SICK PHONE, makes the Galaxy S3 and iphone 5 look like baby toys. =) okay time to put my head back on.
Well I love and miss you all. I hope everything at home is going well. I guess I'll see you in a little bit haha. Vi voglio bene!
      Con amore, Anziano Kyle Hill

2/7/2013 - L'Aquila, Italy

"These are all fotos of L'aquila where we went while doing a scambi.(splits) About 5 years ago it was totally annihilated by an earthquake. Walking through all the streets there felt like you lived in a post apocalyptic world. There isn't a soul outside, its super quiet and everything is destroyed. I learned that smart cars are so eco-friendly that after about 5 years of abandonment plants grow out of them like the one in the photo. Whole buildings collapsed. The castle was still intact though and its huge.

"Me and my passion that not even the mission can stop!!  Found the guitar randomly in the apartment. Can only play on P-day"

2/6/2013 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao a tutti,

So we had transfers this week. Looks like I'm finishing in Pescara. I am opening another companionship here at Pescara. My companion Anziano Whitfield arrives tomorrow. We were in Roma this morning and last night to get Anziano Alessandro's new companion Anziano Fossa (he's a greenie). All 4 of us will be here at Pescara. Anziano Whitfield is only one transfer younger than me in the mission so after I leave he will have little time in the mission left. I'm starting from scratch here in Pescara now because I decided to give all the work to the other companionship. Since Alessandro is training I figured it would be better for them to have a bunch of stuff to do so the new missionary doesn't get discouraged right off the bat. I hope Anziano Whitfield doesn't mind. It will be a rough last transfer but I can deal with it. Six weeks of breaking my back makes the race all the more worth it.
We had an interesting experience yesterday. There is a family that we found last week going door to door and we had our 2nd lesson with them yesterday. Before we left the husband said he wanted to ask a question, looked at his wife, and then turned back to us and said that they had the strangest sensation the last time we were at their house and that after we left they felt a strange sort of inner peace and all their worries went away for a little bit. They wanted to know what it was. I whipped open Galatians chapter 5 immediately and asked them if they felt any of the sensations listed under the "Fruits of the Spirit". After responding "yes" it was time to lay down some invites to pray and read the Book of Mormon  We left Alma 32 (it gets them every time) and we can expect baptismal invites the next lesson. =) BOOM!! man do I love missionary work!!! The Spirit does it all. You just gotta have some faith and preparation and he does the rest.
Our baptism got postponed but its no big deal. There were some "minor technical difficulties". So we will have to move it back a couple of weeks. Maria Luisa is still awesome and still totally wants to be baptized, so no worries. She is the daughter of the Bishop of another city in Sicily and step sister of our ward mission leader so she has many links. We have a general authority coming to speak to us next week in Roma too, Elder Kent F. Richards of the 70. It's gonna be exciting.  I love when we get training's form the general authorities.
Well I gotta go. I love and miss you all. Hope you have a great week Vi voglio bene.

 Con amore, Anziano Kyle Hill

1/30/2013 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao Tutti,
Now you have a whole bunch of fotos to update my blog and facebook so I hope you are happy =) I wasted a ton of time uploading all these photos and sending them that I actually am left with very little time to write you. I wrote Mike a nice long email though about his mission call. I'm super stoked for him. He is gonna love England  I have met so many R.M.s from England here in Italy and all they say are really good things about the people there. Mike won't have to worry about starving to death in branches of 10 people in little tiny towns. He will eat a lot of potatoes, roast and fish. haha, not quite lasagna, pizza, and exquisite pastas but still good anyways.
I'm sorry I'm sending you such a short email. Not much has happened this week anyways other than Maria Luisa will be baptized on Saturday if everything goes to plan. I'll try and get some more pictures next week of members and stuff here in Pescara, also of the baptism.
I hope grandma was okay with me waking her up at 2 in the morning, I send my apologies. It was nice to have 4 minutes to talk to her though. (he had to call about college applications & I didn't hear the phone ringing so he called his grandma Carolyn) I miss all of you so much. I don't want to leave though at the same time. I'm gonna miss Italy. It's so beautiful here and the people are awesome. I love everything about it and it will be really REALLY REALLY hard to leave. My visa and documents don't expire until April 2014 so I can leave and enter Italy and even work here as much as I want for another whole year. Maybe I'll take my wife or someone back here one day. If I can manage to get married before April haha.
Well that's about it for now have a great week and I love and miss you all a TON! Vi voglio bene.

1/25/2013 - Rexburg, Idaho

KYLE'S BROTHER MIKE RECEIVED HIS MISSION CALL TO
LEEDS, ENGLAND!!!
HE REPORTS TO THE LONDON ENGLAND MTC ON MAY 30TH. =)

1/23/2013 - Montesilvano

Ciao Tutti,

Well this week I'm writing you all from Roma. We had another Zone Conference this week. I got to do my last interview with president until my last day and renew my temple recommend. President told me that for my last transfer it's very likely that I'll be training an Italian which means I'd lose a lot more English and come home sounding like super Mario. haha =) At the conference I also had to bear my parting testimony to everyone, how close I am to the end. My group being so huge, we had about 12 missionaries who had to do it here in Roma. It took about an hour. Usually there's only one or 2 who have to do it. President was able to do a baptismal interview this week also for Maria Luisa who will be baptized on the 2nd of Feb. It's a good week for missionary work.
I think it's really interesting that the missionaries shared the story about John Tanner with you because we shared the same story last Sunday night with a family. But we have a movie of the story too that we use, I don't know if the missionaries back home used it. It's really good. Something interesting too about that is that my ex-companion Anziano Bradshaw is a decedent of John Tanner. Cool stuff huh? Tell dad that when people assume that missionary work in Italy is hard they're right. However we are hard workers so in the end there's a lot of fruit. In fact most missionaries here will see at least 5 or 6 baptisms their whole time here; some as much as 18 or 20. We are a baptizing mission. Elder Jeffery R. Holland told me himself that at the airport when I came here.  He said that they don't send just any missionary to the Rome mission. The apostles know it’s not easy and they want only the best. Pres. Eyring said the same thing to our Mission President when he came here. Hard mission but hard workers, so in the end it equals out.
I forgot to send a whole bunch of Birthday wishes out last week =( please forgive me. SO HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the 2 Kristins and mom. =) Aunt Kristin sent me an email this week. Tell her not to worry and that it's not the end of the world when Obama gets elected. The President of Italy is a billionaire 80 year old guy who has a 30 year old trophy wife and cheats on her with 14 year old prostitutes. At least we haven't come this low in America. We'll get everything back in shape and if not Jesus will come down in the 2nd coming and fix everything himself.
Okay I love and miss you all and I gotta go. Have a great week and be excellent to each other. I hope the car thing gets worked out. I'm on Scott's side. Vi voglio bene.
         Con amore

1/16/2013 - Montesilvano

Ciao Todos amigos mios,

I don't think Mike will have his call already. That’s way too fast. It took me like 3-4 weeks if I remember correctly. Anyways I will make a prediction. I have a strong feeling he would do really well in the Russia Novasiberisk mission. Siberia is a beautiful place and I hear that Russian is one of the most beautiful languages in the world. Okay my companion says he’s coming here to Roma and that he will train him. There are two other missionaries here too. Anziano Esplin says Japan and Anziano Bird says Germany. We'll see what happens. I have some pictures I want to send you this week but we are at a weird ghetto internet point and I’m writing you on an IBM from like 20 years ago that doesn't even have USB ports but if I figure something out I'll try and get them to you. I hope you win some money mom on your game show, I don't remember that show at all but if you can make some cash an Audi R8 shouldn't be too out of our budget right? I saw a black one this morning! =)
No baptisms this week =( but they are coming don't worry. People just need a little more time than we thought. No need to worry. We will reschedule the baptismal dates by the end of this week and toward the end of January, start of February we should have quite a few. I did an exchange last week with a newer missionary Anziano Jones. We went to a members house and had dinner and a lesson. He's super timid, poor kid and said maybe 5 words the whole 3 hours we were there. So I had to do everything, in the end though it wasn't too bad because I got super tight with the whole family and they love me. They have two 16 year old twins who look like Anakin Skywalker and an inactive daughter who I was able to help a lot. The members here are starting to like me, especially the young adults and youth. A member told me last Sunday that I was the most "simpatico" (not sure how to translate that word, it means many things nice, funny, likable, attractive personality) missionary they've ever had here. I told them that it’s just because I'm Californian and we are more fun than the average Utah missionaries, haha. Italians think we are all crazy that we go to the ocean in California because they are CONVINCED it's full of sharks haha. I have to explain to EVERYONE that there aren't any sharks and it only happens every 20 years or so someone gets attacked in California. They think Jaws was a documentary instead of a film haha.
Well I'm gonna scapare here. Let me know SUBITO if Mike gets his call. Me and Anziano Alessandro are having a most excellent time here in Pescara. I miss and love you all. Vi voglio bene,
                   Con Amore,
                             Anziano Hill

1/9/2013 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao Tutti,

Well those pictures are quite interesting. Bummer about the Civic. (Scott was in a car accident) It was born and died before I even got the chance to see it. Even though the guy didn't have a license did he have some sort of insurance? Glad to see you guys are all having fun back home though. I miss our New Year’s Christmas Tree burning festival. I don't remember how that got started. I just remember 3 years ago or so burning all of dad’s old law documents in Cali City.
This Monday was a great day for me because I finally got my hands on all my Christmas gifts from you guys =) I opened all of it there with my whole district. YOU GUYS WENT ALL OUT! The scripture gift thing was too funny. We had a good laugh and my companion is in love with all the American goodies he got. I still gotta hang up all the letters and pictures from my cousins and siblings. When I do I'll take a picture and send it. Best Christmas gift ever!! I really thank you guys for the effort put into that. Today I spent a little bit of Christmas gift money. I bought a suit and some nice shirts. Everything here is on sale right now so it only cost me about 75 Euros for everything. I might buy another suit later this evening if time permits. I bought it all on the credit card because I know that gets you points or something good like that so when you get the balance sheet just take the charge spent on the credit card and pull the money from my checking account. I would like to know my balance too next week if you could get me that it would be most appreciated =)
As for missionary work this week we lost all our baptisms we were supposed to have this week =) but alas! no need to worry because it wasn't anything to crazy, it's just our investigators went out of town and they want time to "reflect, read the Book of Mormon, and Pray" on their own. I don't see anything wrong with that and if they are sincere I'm sure the big man upstairs will take care of everything. Going into Feb. we could see a good 4 baptisms here in Pescara. We are really doing an amazing work here. Things are going really well. I'm gonna have a good final few transfers here. My old companion, Anziano Anderson, got sent off to Malta for his last 2 transfers in the mission, that was a surprise. That’s a fun place to finish I would think.
Well I hope you are all having a great week and I miss and love you all. Thank you again for all the gifts and thoughts for Christmas. You guys are amazing. Vi voglio troppo bene!
         Con amore, Anziano Kyle Hill

Ciao Tutti,

Well no one decided to write me an email this week, rough. Well I guess I won't write you guys much either. This week is going well and we should have a couple baptisms this coming Saturday on the 12th. It was nice to talk to you all last Wednesday and see your faces. Hope you are all doing well and curious as to what you are up to over the holidays. Here in Pescara for two days strait there was a firework show in the streets for New Years. It seemed like a war zone with explosions going on everywhere all night. I made "lasagne fatto a mano" for me and my companion. Basically  it is homemade lasagna where you even make the pasta by hand with flour and eggs. I'll make you some when I get home.
Well that’s about it for today. Have a great week everyone and I miss and love you all. Vi voglio bene.

Con amore,    Anziano Kyle Hill

"Talking with his Hands"

12/19/2012 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao Tutti,

Hello, wow there was a ton of information in that email mom. First of all is the fact that the future Sorella Rost just got called to the coolest mission in the world. She'll be coming in with a new mission president though. I think President Kelly finishes in June. I can't believe Mike will probably already have his call before I get home. Something I never expected. You have no idea how much jealous rage is burning in me right now of the fact Mike’s vision actually got all better. Mine has gotten worse I think. I feel like a blind person sometimes. I realized that if I lived 2000 years ago I'd be one of those poor blind beggars that you read about in the Bible because I wouldn't be able to see ANYTHING. I wouldn't mind just getting that dang laser thing done that dad did so I don't ever have to worry about it again..
This week we were able to throw down two baptismal dates with Enrika and Maria Luisa. Enrika we met with this morning with our Vescovo and had a really great lesson, she's really stressed and is going through a bunch of personal problems right now. She asked me to give her a blessing at the end of the lesson. She really loves the church and I think she will be a great addition to our ward here. She was found by my companion last transfer doing door to door (IT WORKS) =) Then Maria Luisa is the Sister in law of our ward mission leader and daughter of the Vescovo in Messina who has waited his whole life to finally see his daughter get baptized so it's pretty exciting.
We get transfer calls this Saturday =( time is FLYING. When I call you it will probably be a really trunky moment because we gotta plan stuff and what not for when I get home but don't worry, I won't let it distract me too much, just be ready. And be ready for me to speak really bad English or forget words from time to time because I've found it recently a lot easier for me to express myself in italiano other than English. That’s what happens when you serve with companions who don't know any English other than things they learned on Xbox Live like "headshot" or "pwnd" or a lot of vulgar things that I always seem to be telling them not to say because they are bad words.
Okay so I got some letters this week including a post card thingy from the Carpenters. The letters are in the office and I was supposed to get them this Saturday during a scambi but it got cancelled so I may not get them till after Christmas =( sorry. I got a letter from my sister and Scotty and a card from grandma. I know I need to write people so I will get on it. I miss and love you all. Have a great Christmas week and see you next week =) Vi voglio bene
                         Con amore, Anziano Kyle Hill

12/12/2012 - Montesilvano, Italy

Ciao tutti,

Well you had a ton of questions in your email mom so I’m just gonna go off answering all of them right now. As for Aunt Kristin's padded envelopes nothing yet, they are probably in the office and I will get them towards the end of this week. I have only gotten two letters to my new address, an awesome post card from Uncle Gordon and a letter from my sister. Make sure when you the address you put MONTESILVANO in nice big letters and maybe instead of writing "Pescara" just put a "PE" okay because there is a via verrotti in Pescara too and that is not my address because I live in montesilvano. I go to Rome every once and a while and I get stuff from there when we do scambis and what not. S.lla Sobeck is in my zone and I saw her at zone conference and was sure to tell her that my mom stalks her on her blog =) haha. My companionship is going well. Anziano Alessandro is really easy to make fun of and he takes a joke real well so we have one of those love hate relationships. =) We have good fun. Pescara is nice and we have an awesome ward here. The only problem is it's freezing here and it actually snowed Sunday morning. We were in L’Aquila Thursday and got to play in the snow. Me and Anziano Bradshaw staked out and destroyed our companions with snowballs during the scambi.
We should have a couple baptisms coming up in January. We plan on setting a couple dates this week with two investigators who are progressing a lot. One of them is a woman who every time she opens the book of Mormon to look for answers she always finds it in the first verse she reads. The other is the step sister of our ward mission leader. Work here is awesome. The other day we had an FHE at the home of a new convert family. They are Napoletani so we ate super good pizzas and a 1 kilo ball of Mozzerella di Buffala, man that stuff is so good.
Well I sent some fotos from this week for you to enjoy =) I loved all the fotos from you guys I miss all those little cousins. Have a great week and I miss you all! Vi voglio bene!
      Con Amore,   Kyle Hill

Ciao Tutti,

Okay, so another week, another email =) lucky you guys. We had zone conference yesterday so I'm still in Roma. We stayed the night with the assistants and Roma 2 Anziani at their apartment the last two nights. We have too much fun together because we all know each other way well and are really good friends. To address some concerns, yes there was a tornado in Taranto last week and it did destroy a lot of stuff. But the main victim was the big evil factory that gives everyone in Taranto cancer, about time God decided to take it down. It was a P-day and me and my companion were walking around and saw a T.V. hung up at a store and the news was playing. It said Taranto so I got excited and looked for a second. Then we say the giant tornado and everything and I kinda flipped out a sec. I called Anziano Visintin though down there and asked is they were okay. In the end everyone was fine but the house of the State Anziani was destroyed. All the windows busted out and everything. The State Anziani were in Taranto though at my old apartment though so they got lucky. That’s about where that story ends.
I enjoy hearing you all talk about the Christmas choir and program for that. I am totally doing it next year if I'm home. It was one of favorite experiences before the mission. I really love singing, especially Christmas stuff. Even more so, Christmas stuff in italiano. It’s the perfect language for singing I think because all the words rhyme because they all end in an "i,a,o" or "e". It’s getting pretty stinking cold here again and I may have snow fotos for you guys again this year. Lucky me =P
No mail or anything yet. I did get some letters from the office yesterday though. It's nice being so close to Roma. I'll keep my eye out though for your letters. As for Christmas calls we are thinking about doing them the Wednesday after Christmas because that is P-day and Christmas we are eating at members homes all day so we are kinda busy. We'll try and aim to do it in the evening when you guys are all awake that morning. I did get a haircut like 3 weeks ago so no worries and I am loving Pescara. We had a baptism last Saturday and should have a couple more this month =) Things are going REALLY WELL. I have never seen better work my whole mission. The members here take good care of us.
Well, I miss and love you all. I will have pictures next week because I left my cord to connect my camera in Pescara =P FAIL. Have a great week everyone and happy Dicembre!! Vi voglio bene ASSAI!!!
